While Olsen wouldn’t drop any hints about who specifically will be popping in at some point this season, she said ‘I’m excited” for viewers to see what (or who) is coming.’

‘I encourage all fans to settle in, because there’s more coming,’ she added, with TV Line even hinting that it could be similar to Luke Skywalker’s (Mark Hamill) surprise appearance at the end of Disney Plus’ The Mandalorian Season 2 finale.

Olsen also hinted that there may be some sort of reference to her sisters Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen’s 1980s and 1990s sitcom Full House this season.

As for the surprise Marvel Cinematic Universe character, there could be two possibilities, which Wanda herself mentioned earlier this season.

With Olsen stating, ‘what (or who) is coming,’ the ‘what’ could be a reference to the villainous robot Ultron, voiced by James Spader.

Ultron was the primary villain in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, where Olsen made her debut as Wanda Maximoff, a.k.a. Scarlet Witch.

Ultron has come up in the show as well, with Geraldine a.k.a. Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) mentioning Ultron, which angered Wanda enough to use her powers and toss Monica out of Westview.

The ‘who’ could very well be her own brother, Pietro Maximoff, a.k.a. Quicksilver, who was played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Wanda has also briefly mentioned her brother Pietro in the first four episodes, wistfully recalling that he was killed by Ultron.

WandaVision will continue its first season with the fifth episode, debuting Friday, February 5 on Disney Plus.
